Abstract
Immediate release tablets prepared by wet granulation method containing drug by using superdisintegrants like
Crosscarmellose, Sodium starch glycolate in different concentrations i.e 4.5% and 3% and the selected
superdisintegrants were used along with different diluents like microcrystalline cellulose and their combinations.
Comparative evaluation of Terbinafine Hydrochloride tablets by wet granulation method as its formulations
rapidly disintegrates in the stomach .The in-vitro percentage drug release from the formulation F-8 prepared by
wet granulation compression containing Microcrystalline cellulose at concentration of 5% was found to be 99.67%
drug release.
